South Creek Farms is a mini-farm in western Washington state located less than an hour’s drive from Tacoma, WA. Are you aware that Australian Shepherds should not have certain medications do to the MDR1 gene?
Ex: Ivomec, Heartgard, Acepromazine (this information will be included in the puppy packet)
An Aussie’s coat should never be shaved. (a trim is ok)
Aussies are herders and may nip heels and knock down children.

Do you know what will happen if you breed a merle dog to another merle dog?
At least 25% of puppies will be hearing and/or vision impaired their whole life.
It is very important for the puppy to get all the necessary immunizations for its age. The puppy should not be taken to public areas, where other dog’s immunization history is unknown, until the puppy has had all necessary immunizations.
